Although I have a lot of system freezes in Jaunty I actually have not
seen this particular bug in quite some time, maybe it has been fixed
already?
I will install (or upgrade to) karmic alpha somewhere this week and let
you know if I run in to this bug again.

We have not heard back on testing latest kernels. Since then, the
Karmic kernels have further than what was available at the last request
for latest testing.
