So, I have compiz enabled. System::Preferences::Appearance::Visual Effects is set to Normal. Nothing special about this setup. Just a Lenovo T60 laptop, with wireless, etc enabled. I've installed the debug packages so hopefully I'll get a better stack trace. I don't have access to another machine
