I'm having real trouble chasing this one. It's the same hang that I get
when the application is rendering the EPG sometimes. The second thread
listed seems to be locking up after it leaves my code. Still looking
into it.

I forgot to say that there are 2 threads "running" when me-tv blocks.
The stack trace of the second thread is:

I've got the same problem on a netbook with a DVB-T stick. It seems that me-tv
has a locking problem in the threads:

#2 0xb71e1129 in _L_lock_89 () from /lib/tls/i686/cmov/libpthrea
I can't replicate this. I need a stack trace to I can see where the
issue is.
