In Kubuntu 11.04 it finally works. The picture quality is not the best.
But it works.

I hope this helps. The webcam seems to be recognized when you look at
the logs. But it is missing a working driver?

Can you please attach these files:
/var/log/syslog
/var/log/dmesg
/var/log/kern.log
Open a terminal and type
lspci
then copy the output in the KDE text editor, save and attach the file, and
same procedure for the command
lsusb

Creative Live! Ultra webcam doe
This happens in Kubuntu 9.10 and in the recent 10.04 too. The webcam has
never worked in Kubuntu. It does so on Windows.
