After searching through the other "Evolutino-Bugs" I found a work-around
that worked for me:
in the file "/home/.evolution/calender/local/systems/calender.ics"
I deleted the last "vevent" which was a recurring event.
Looking at the other posts, recurring events seem to be the reason why
the Evolu

I can confirm this crash. The system monitor shows under "waiting
chanel" : "futex_wait"
I have a dual core AMD CPU, if this is important
I tried backtaceing but could not find anything usefull.
