Additional info: using the icemon package from intrepid works too, so it
looks like a regression since jaunty. I put some instructions about this

I can confirm that it does not work on 9.04 but work fine in 8.10 on
Kubuntu. Distribution works fine though it's just the monitor that does
not show anything. I did not change any settings.

I can confirm this as well. Works fine in Kubuntu 8.10 but not in 9.04.

I report the same behaviour on Kubuntu 9.04. Icemon outputs the
