My home network does not support ipv6 so this causes the internet to
load new webpages slowly as it locates the servers or whatever. I'm sure
you know more about what I am talking about than I do.
Do you know how I can disable ipv6? seems like the quickest fix to my
internet problem.

I agree that the documentation is a problem... but I'm also curious as
to what prompted you to disable ipv6. Have you filed a bug about what
that problem is? Perhaps that problem can be solved, and disabling ipv6
can be avoided.
