its really strange that the user is not able to switch between networks
anymore. this is a basic functionality! i think there is no big response
to this bug cause most of the users change "connect automatically"
through the networks tab to make the widget connect to the wanted
wireless. but this sh
This bug is the primary reason I continue to use knetworkmanager. The
inability to manually connect/reconnect to networks makes the plasma
widget essentially useless for anything but the simplest and most
reliable wireless scenarios.

I can confirm... Although it will connect to a known network, you cannot
switch networks through the interface. Clicking on the network names
always creates a new connection.
