Thanks for the update.
I had to change machines (we thought it was defective but t was a bug in
Ubuntu, apparently still there) and have not ried the wjeather report
again (after all, it was not working).
I will check and let you know next week (no time this week).

Same here. I just unstalled 9.04 64-bit with recent updates and have
noticed that the weather is not being updated by World Clock applet. The
weather applet works fine, yet World Clock will require me to go through
"Settings -> Locations -> Edit" routine in order to update weather
information. And
