what is the work around? I used google chrome to make a shortcut, but
after adding shortcut to favorites there is blank ugly icon instead of
fancy icon i choosed for this item in menu.

Paul, i have just tested this on Karmic final release and i can confirm that it
has in fact not been fixed.
I can reproduce the bug with the steps given above. The dir
~/.config/netbook-launcher/icons exists already so the given workaround cannot
be applied here.

Thanks for the quick fix. The workaround works. I guess the only big
downside to the functionality is the very poor resolution of the
favicons.

webfav. The problem is netbook-launcher is trying to save the favicon in
a directory that does not exist and that is failing.
