I can confirm it too - We are using HP network printer and acrobat is
not able to print duplex. Evince can do it. We are using Acrobat reader
9.4 for Ubuntu 10.04(x86).

I've got exactly the same problem... equal. I was able to print "duplex"
with the acroread 8.x but since I upgraded it to 9... impossible. It
gives the status "retained" to the job on the printer.
I can print just one sided. To give more details, I'm using Ubuntu 8.04.
Please cement_head, let us
