Fonty has moved-on. Please visit
https://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/fontypython/ to get the latest
version. I can't fix this problem backwards for lack of time. The
version in the Ubuntu repos should be 0.4.2.x these days and 0.4.3 (Oct
2009) is almost ready for release.

Duh! I just saw the Traceback.txt file -- that contains the error.
Sorry.
Still not sure why this is happening. If the user could move to the
latest version of Fonty, perhaps things will magically go away.
Otherwise, I would ask them to install a utf-8 locale before they run
fonty.

Hello - I am the author. This crash is a mystery. If I could see the
exact error-report it would help. Unicode errors are a PITA and I am not
the best at figuring them out.

rather than launchpad.
