Ditto. Firefox 64 bit worked fine in 10.04, but creates lockup issues
in Ubuntu 10.10.
Neither Chrome of Opera have these issues. Doesn't appear flash or java
related.

Same happens to me since recently. So far just two times but within one
week and within firefox. I also cannot reproduce it so far, don't even
know which website might have been responsible and if it was really
firefox' fault. My versions:
