Thanks for reporting this issue. There are a number of steps needed to shutdown from the GUI if I am also logged in to a TTY console. 1. Select "Quit" button 2. Select "Shutdown" 1. On the error message is a "Quit" button, that I must hit. 2. The gdm login screen comes up, so I am now logged out o

I've had the same problem with last edge Mythbuntu while keeping it updated. (seems to be) Resolved doing from the console sudo polkit-auth --user paolo --grant org.freedesktop.hal.power-management.reboot-multiple-sessions "paolo" is the user I use. Change it accordingly. Thanks, P. -- XFCE fa
