Duncan; If I recall correctly I posed that question during Dapper
development cycle, but the new release from that point didn't fix the
bug, so it didn't matter much :-)
Anyway, I *think* I skimmed som release notes somewhere about some
cropping fixes, I'll reopen if I can reproduce.

Kino in Ubuntu, which is 0.9.2, this but should be marked as fixed.

Kino package in dapper is very outdated - several new versions are
released since 0.80, which is in dapper - look at http://www.kinodv.org
I'm suggesting to use 0.92 version, which has critical bug fixes over
0.9.1 and olders releases.
