Can anyone tell us what version of ncpfs works in Ubuntu 9.04? I'd be
happy to use an older version if that means I can access my Novel
volumes.

I believe this bug is because in GCC 4.3.3 __attribute_packed doesn't
work as it did previously. Really it shouldnt need that in the code.
Anyone have a good quick solution other than rewriting all the structs?

I just installed ncpfs after doing a clean install, and I'm getting this

I had the same problem in Gutsy and now in Jaunty.
My workaround to use ncpmount until this is fixed is to;
first make sure it it reported here in Launchpad,
uninstall the broken ncpfs and
install the working ncpfs from the previous version.
I then lock the working ncpfs version until it is fixed
