Just killed beagled-helper off, like previous mentions, was consuming
100% cpu and slowing everything else down.
I do have 20 or 30 PDF's in the system, and a good 600Gb of disk space
with several hundred thousand files, probably not helping.

I'm experiencing this problem also, since upgrading from dapper to edgy.
I have to kill -9 the beagled-helper process to get rid of it, and it
comes back later unless beagle is shutdown.

This is a dupe of #34495, which the reporter says is fixed in Edgy and I cannot
reproduce.
