hp-wmi: Add support for reporting tablet state
I apologize for not keeping this up to date with where things are at.
I've been in touch with the driver's maintainer (Matthew Garrett) and a
patch has been made. What he has done is separated the signals for the
dock and the tablet swivel. Before it was all one signal (which I wasn't

Thanks for your reply. I burned Jaunty to a disc and ran a live session.
Modprobed hp-wmi and no changes in behavior.
I have been looking into this for a little bit now. Here's a link to a

Can you test the latest pre-release of Jaunty 9.04, currently Alpha 6 -
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/jaunty/ . The reason I ask is
because I see it provides the hp-wmi driver:
