I can confirm that this problem remains in the release version of
Kubuntu 9.04 with only the regular packages installed. The "DSL" and
"Mobile-broadband" tabs are greyed out in the network management
plasmoid.

cannot connect under KDE environment . at first, I thought my Kubuntu
Home disk space isn't enough ,but I understand there just a release
problem . It isn't convenient for me switch between GNOME and KDE . I

No update on this bug? Kubuntu Jaunty network manager does not allow to
set DSL connection (it is grayed out). At the same time, Ubuntu Jaunty
network manager works like a charm. At another box I have both ubuntu-
desktop and kubuntu-desktop in the same installation. And you know what?

Sergiu, I have also this problem and I am very angry about it. I've been
working with Kubuntu since Gutsy Gibbon and was very satisfied with
that. But since I have upgraded from Intrepid to Jaunty I can't reach
internet, because someone have canceled the option to proceed
