I'm using LyX 1.6.4 in Mint 8 Helena, and mine got 25% through the
document, then popped up an error that said, "The spellchecker has
failed. No word lists can be found for the language de_DE."
My default (and only) language is set for English.
This error occurred after running the abovementioned
I can confirm this in Ubuntu 9.04 too with LyX 1.6.2.
The spellchecker (german) behaves strangely and basically isn't working.
I'm going to investigate this further.
