Absolutely the same. I needed to set XAA in xorg.conf for youtube page to
render properly(and some other pages).
I also have an x1800xl ati card.

Hi guys, i found that this bug is not related to the driver, but i think it
could be something related to xulrunner or firefox generally , because i just
installed
Opera 10 and it works perfectly with youtube.

I am having similar problems.
Additionally there is an annoying issue with my mouse pointer. It is
'flickering'. But only on a few vertical positions. Horizontal I haven't
realized this flickering.

I have the exact same problem on Ubuntu 9.04 64bit and 9.10 alpha 3
32bit(livecd). My gpu is an x1800xl.
The problem goes away if I use XAA.
Furthermore I tested it with packages provided by Volden's PPA and the problem
persists in git.
The packages I downloaded are:
