Correct, Python 2.4 is no longer properly supported in Jaunty. 2.5 and
2.6 are.

It looks like support for python2.4 in jaunty is not there. On intrepid
packages are installed in /var/lib/python-support/python2.4 and
python2.5. In jaunty there is no python2.4.
