Thanks, Ricardo. As I'm using Karmic in my production machine, latest emesene is not available. Just compiled v1.6 and everything is working great. I think this bug can be closed now as fixed, but despite that option is available to me, I don't know if I'm supposed to do that. -- MSNGroups does

Glauco, You can activate the option "Support msn groups friendly names" under Connection, on the Preferences panel. I think this should be enabled by default anyway. Regarding the commands problem, you must use a double slash, telling emesene that you actually want to send that to the chat window.

Confirmed, everybody in messenger group chat has the group's name, instead of his own. Emesene also doesn't seem to accept the messenger group chat commands. The result of any entry is " doesn't exist", maybe emesene is trying to execute the commands itself. (should be filled another bug for thi
