I've no bluetooth phone or other devices to try that but you can try to
get a nautilus stacktrace during the hang to see where it's hanging

nautilus hangs a lot when browsing the phone...

I released ods 0.4.3 (http://tadas.dailyda.com/blog/2009/02/08/obex-
data-server-043/). Highly recommended update, however note that with USB
support enabled, ods now depends on openobex 1.4 and libusb. New USB
code is intented to be used in revised gvfs-obexftp backend.
