Thank you for your quick response!
But I must admit that this does not work. The broken video plasmoid
didn't vanish, but so did my whole playlists and so on. That's why I use
my old configuration files again.

The video plasmoid was removed in the final release. I'd recommend
purging the configuration files (~/.kde/share/config/amarokrc and the
folder ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok) and trying again.
