how to install dazuko on ubuntu 8.04.1?
i used to install the debian package from dazuko.org and succeed in 7.04
but no luck in 8.04.1 since the capability module was built into the
kernel.

@Hervé: This is the correct method for allowing Dazuko and Capability to
run simultaneously. The procedure you listed is necessary because
Capability does not support secondary security modules.
This bug is obsoleted with Edgy.

-generic kernels in Edgy do have the dazuko module available, but I cannot
insert it without removing capabilities first:
FATAL: Error inserting dazuko
(/lib/modules/2.6.17-8-generic/kernel/fs/dazuko/dazuko.ko): Invalid argument
Procedure is then:
sudo rmmod capability
sudo modprobe dazuko
sudo
@Daniel: in fact, Dakuzo has something Inotify hasn't, and this is why
Klamav won't move to the latter: Dakuzo is a security module, and will
_prevent_ infected files from loading/executing.
Edgy has a newer version 2.2.0:

@Hervé: Can you describe your alternative way with inotify? Does dapper
kernel has inotify capabilities? Can clamav use it w/o X (want to have
my samba shares secured without graphical login) and can klamav show a
warning
