The problem may have been in the X11 server, not necessarily with
Stellarium. I was using the open source radeon driver, but after a
brief fling with trying to use fglrx (which still doesn't handle my 2
monitor setup in a usable manner), I reverted to the OSS driver once
again. Then all of a sudd
