ok will close it with won't fix as suggested (and I'm sorry about the
long time it took to come back to you but the openswan maintainer is
very busy and I must admit that I first tried to fix the Debian bugs
before working on the Ubuntu ones...)

I'm not sure about the nature of this bug, it could be a problem with
the random data needed for creating the key but without further
information I wont be able to work on this issue. Did you create a plain
RSA key or a X509 certificate?

The key generation seemed frozen , as no activity of a key gen process was
visible in a $ top for many minutes
