I tried again on a fresh install of Ubuntu 8.10 (Evince 2.24.1, poppler
0.8.7 Cairo, Japanese environment). The above file was correctly
printed.

Thank you for your feedback. Sorry I can't print&scan before January because of
holidays, but basically everything (the 3 right-centered pictures and the
orange line) is printed, except the 4 pictures at the 4 extremities where the
printer just leaves white as if there was nothing.
I can add tha
i printed the attached pdf using evince (the same version as yours) and it came
out just fine...
can you please attach a scan of the incorrect printed version?
