Thank you for your bug report, gnome-volume-manager is not used to mount disks
since hardy, could you run:
- lshal --monitor, connect your usb key and copy the corresponding log to the
bug
- run gvfs-mount -li before and after plugin the key and add the logs to the
bug too
- confirm that nautilu
On closer examination of the gvfs package, I think it's responsible for
mounting removable drives via gvfsd-computer or gvfs-hal-volume-monitor.
