Loic, again though that sounds to be a separate issue from this one, so
should be handled as a separate bug report. If you don't see an exact
match already in -intel feel free to open a new report, but we do have a
pretty large quantity of performance-related bug reports to -intel
(seems they're p
Bryce, note however that the slowdowns only happen when I launch Xorg
again (after exiting the first one); in the first Xorg I start, I don't
have any slowdowns, while bug #320813 doesn't make this distinction.

In the upstream bug you mentioned that the hangs are gone but that there
are still some performance issues. There are several performance issues
known and covered in more detail under other bug reports, so I think we
can close this bug. The hangs when moving workspaces are covered by
320813 for e
Loic, please retest on current Jaunty which has newer versions of
xserver, -intel, etc. and report your findings on the upstream bug.

I have a similar problem, although I can't be sure it is the same bug.
Situation:
Log in to to X via GDM (works fine the first time).
Log out (works fine).
Second login to X freezes display on solid orange background (same user).
Mouse still responds, but no keyboard.
System:
