Temporary Fix for this bug . after opening Firefox press f11 however
many times it takes to resize. now right click somewhere on Firefox's
tool bar. Go to customize . then click on restore default now
restart Firefox it worked for me I have Ubuntu 8.10 Firefox 3

I did a partition install of ubuntu 8.10, it was not an upgrade from 80.04 but
i have the full screen problem with firefox 3
i have no idea why. any suggestions of what might be the cause and how to fix
it?

a have the same probleme too (one have to press F11 twice to return in
normal mode) i have Ubuntu 8.10 "not upgrade from 8.04"

Yeah, this problem is occuring after upgrading to 8.10. One has to press
F11 twice to return to normal mode.

it's just happened today. After upgrading to 8.10 since 1st of Nov, FF
was behaving fine. I have disable Javascript that allow the resizing
windows and restarted FF, but problem recurred.
Did full uninstall and reinstallation of FF 3, but still not able to get
the windows frame with FF.
