I don't care where I am connected to. The only thing I'm trying to say is that
the liveusb created
intrepid USB sometimes doesn't adjust the screen resolution correctly. This
doesn't happen on
a correctly installed system or with gutsy.

are you implying that ubuntu should detect the fact that we're connected
to a docking station and adjust the screen resolution accordingly? also,
why do you mention the liveusb? does this work correctly in an installed
system?
