No, I don't agree with you.
It's not ok, especially becouse of the mismatch between Ubuntu and GRUB
numbering.
All drives recognized by Ubuntu as (hd1) must be then manually remapped to
(hd0) and the same with (hd0) recognized by Ubuntu.
This ugly bug is still present in Ubuntu Jaunty and also K
