I seems that works. I will now cover myself in shame for not setting it
up correctly :(. I am sorry for the invalid bug report! The new multi
page configuration I guess had confused me.(I had gone to 'page 2' but
for some _dumb_ reason I had thought that was the last page)

When you go to Edit Connections and edit the connection is autoconnect
checked on the last page? I don't have any problems with it on my
laptop, but that was not upgraded from Hardy. It was a fresh Intrpid
Beta install.

I tried to use a different wifi card, and I got the same problem with
the other card too.
This problem is also present after a dropped connection(if i go and
unplug the router the plug it back in). and after resuming from ram.
