not appear to be a bug report so we are closing it and converting it to
a question in the support tracker. We appreciate the difficulties you

You should try to subsitute the jre.IBM_INTEL_LINUX folder in your maple
installation location with a link to /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun/jre (or
wherever your jre resides).

I have the same problem with the final release of Intrepid, trying to
run Maple 12.
