Well, since a while, this bug doesn't affect me on jaunty, but if it
appears on karmic, this is a regression and a very bad news.
I don't think that launchpad isn't a good place to report it, because I
described precisely all problems, but no ones seems to care about that.

This affects me too on Karmic - after resuming from hibernate none of my
USB ports work.
Not quite sure what I need to attach, but the relevant bit of dmesg
(which seems to confirm something's wrong) is:
dmesg | grep usb

This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in
it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try
with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are
available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/karmic .

After clean reboot :

yes it appear every hybernate.
To recreate it , very simple way, remove my usb device (mouse ) ,
hybernate, wake up, when this done plug my mouse again, it not
working... wait, wait ( plug / remove / plug / remove => no view on
dmesg) wait some times and finaly :
