Extended Test case:
sudo apt-get install libavcodec-unstripped-51 libavformat-unstripped-52
libavutil-unstripped-49
then
sudo apt-get install openmovieeditor
gives the following message:
The following packages will be REMOVED:
libavcodec-unstripped-51 libavformat-unstripped-52
libavutil-unstr
Impact of the bug: openmovieeditor is not compatible with any of the
application that needs unstripped version of libavcodec libs (rdepends
shows me at least 41)
Correction: a rebuild of the package add that as dependency:
libavcodec51 (>= 3:0.svn20080206-8) | libavcodec-unstripped-51 (>=
3:0.svn
A simple rebuild add the unstripped version to dependencies.
I'll upload a debdiff to force the rebuild of this package

Does not recognize unstripped video packages
Same here. openmovieeditor should probably depend on libav* OR
libav*-unstripped, as libav*-unstripped should not miss anything that libav*
has.
Not sure if the idea with moving the non-free ffmpeg stuff from Medibuntu to
those unstripped packages was a good one. Definitely does break substituti
Also ran into this problem. Installing ubuntu-restricted-extras ends up
removing the package and the video meta-package in UbuntuStudio.
