This also occurs in Jaunty beta, except that it doesn't go away
immediately. It requires some sort of action with the window that forces
it to redraw. It also happens with the desktop.

It occurs me with almost all windows, especially when am opening them.
This has become a great annoyance for me. When I get a tooltip which is
more than a line length, like when pointing over a thread of mails in
Thunderbird, the tooltip is completely blacked out.

Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex pre-release, fully updated as of today (Oct 13).
Compiz version: 1:0.7.8-0ubuntu2
All animations for new windows have been disabled, but problem persists.
Problem does not manifest for windows restored from minimise. It is only
seen with newly mapped windows.
