In Kubuntu Hardy there was a dialog after pressing the power button.

Thanks for setting the importance. As long as we're making wishes, maybe
someone could add a configuration option to guidance-power-manager that
asks the user what should happen when the power button is pressed.
Bringing up the leave screen could be one of the options. There's
already a configurati

You're quite right, it's the same behavior as Kubuntu Hardy but
different from Ubuntu Hardy. If halting without confirmation is the
intended behavior, could you please mark this as invalid? Otherwise, it
should probably be wishlisted.
