Hardy booted fine but then the graphics go very strange indeed - lots of
green all over the place. Sorry that I don't have a screenshot or more
information.
I tried using wubi.exe to install Intrepid from within Windows, and that

This is a new laptop that came with Windows, and I haven't tried
installing any versions of Ubuntu pre-Intrepid. It's possible to install
Hardy and then use the update manager to move to Intrepid when the final
version is released, isn't it? Assuming so, I will try downloading Hardy
and installing
Did hardy work alright or was that problematic too?
