Running xev and pressing fn+f6 shows no output in the terminal.
I can't see anything which looks like the camera in lsusb. The output
is as here:
Bus 005 Device 010: ID 0c45:62c0 Microdia

I've managed to narrow this bug down a bit.
After a fresh boot I can enable and disable the webcam by pressing fn + f6 and
it'll show in lsusb. But disabling the camera after running cheese or starting
cheese with the camera disabled breaks the fn + f6 function. The webcam does
not show up in ls
run "xev" in a terminal, and then press fn+f6. tell us the output
also, can you confirm that the camera is visible in "lsusb" ? from my
experience at the asus eee, sometimes the camera is disabled in the
bios...
