There have been a lot of changes upstream since 1.2.1, and it would be
fantastic if you could test 1.3.x with your iPod. You will probably find that
things work much better. It's available on Intrepid in the Banshee Unstable

It seems that the sync actually works, but the UI in Banshee does not
expose the sync capability. Closing the report.
