Wall instead on Desktop Cube..

Well I tried the live CD of the beta release of Karmic, the animation
was perfect. However, the animation I tried wasn't that of the desktop
cube, but desktop wall, for I wasn't able to install advanced desktop
effects in the live session. Moreover, the desktop wall animation is
flawless in Jaunty

Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be
reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the
development release - Karmic Koala. It would help us greatly if you
could test with it so we can wo
i've already upgraded to the latest ubuntu (9.04) with the latest
updates, including an update for compiz (the the intel driver i
believe?), and the problem's still there.

i've just updated my Ubuntu 8.10 to the latest updates, and restarted my
computer.. but unfortunately the problem wasn't resolved. I'm glad i was

i didn't know whether i should use sudo -i command before the lspci
-vvnn, so i did both, since i saw "Capabilities: ".. this

gimp, the rest as u can see is the problem.. it goes black, kinda.. i
