The "Normal" radiobutton under System -> Preferences -> Appearances ->
Visual Effects is checked. Yesterday after I did a power-off reboot the
problem seems to have disappeared. I still get a diagonal loss of title
bar color once in a while though. All the way across the Title Bar is a
diagonal
Compiz is installed and enabled by default if your hardware can support it.
If you're hardware can't run it, it's still installed, just not enabled. Are
you certain it's disabled in System -> Preferences -> Appearances -> Desktop
Effects?

I've noticed that if I delete my .mozilla directory and then launch
Firefox again, everything goes fine... until I surf a web with flash
videos (like youtube, for example). After that, if I close Firefox and
then launch it again, the titlebar is gone again.

I'm getting the same problem with my Intrepid Beta installation. Firefox
starts with the titlebar hidden by the gnome panel. If I remaximize the
firefox window with F11 key the titlebar is visible again. I have compiz
enabled and use compiz as the window manager.

Um, I think if you Alt+Right-click you can get the menu that lets you do
that without a titlebar.
