Actualy, im using Brasero now, but as I remember, there were no major
issues with burning cds using other applications lately.

Reassigned to gnomebaker as gnomebaker ignores the size of the CD and calls
cdrecord with parametrers that
would overfill the CD by 2099 sectors.
Gnomebaker should either allow to use -overburn or better check for the
available space on the medium.

Your problem is not caused by cdrecord but by gnomebaker.
Please carefully read your logfile... you tried to write
more to the CD than the available capacity. You may try
again with -overburn (see message in log file)
