Same problem here. When gnome starts I've got the crash "compiz.real
crashed with SIGSEGV". I'm running Ubuntu 8.19 ii alpha 4 with all
updates.
I use the version 177 of the nvidia binary driver. Like Niels running
compiz from the menu's works fine until reboot.
