that's weird,there's an upstream bug regarding a similar issue
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=511063 that pointed to be an
MC issue rather, may you look to it and see if that is what you're
facing? thanks.

I may have checked out Contact "B"'s profile by hovering my mouse over
the contact's name but, never started a conversation with them at all.
