Tested this on Intrepid final release; WEP and WPA keys of all types
work for me now. I consider this bug resolved.

upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release. As a result, the kernel team would
appreciate it if you could please test this newer 2.6.27 Ubuntu kernel.

I am not sure what to say. I will be diplomatic.
1. I was told on a flight last week by one of the Ubuntu Server developers to
report this problem on launchpad.
2. I spent 2 days researching this in forums and found many many people using
different forms on LINUX
with the same or similar issu
I think you must have an AP issue. A Dell Inspiron 1525 with i3945 works
fine, e.g., WPA/PSK and TKIP. Furthermore, if it wasn't working there
would have been much howling by now.
