Which debian package are you talking about? The one in unstable does not
have any dependency - http://packages.debian.org/sid/freemind

The debian package has dependency on libjaxp1.2-java. Don't know for the
java app inside the deb.
I have filed a bugreport to update the package upstream.
Also asked getdeb.net crew to help out.
Workaround: I installed libjaxp1.2-java from hardy repositories to meet
dependancies.

Does freemind have hard dependency on libjaxp1.2-java? In my opinion
libjaxp1.3-java should be drop in replacement.
If freemind has hard dependency on libjaxp1.2-java then please ask the upstream
author to update the software.

Freemind 0.8.1 is not available in the repositories but only on
